Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 2026. By using 365tools.net you agree to these terms. Written plainly — no legalese.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using 365tools.net (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please do not use the Site.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone else who accesses the Site. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Description of Service
365tools.net provides free, browser-based file processing tools including (but not limited to): image conversion, image resizing, image compression, PDF merging, PDF splitting, PDF compression, QR code generation, and DICOM file conversion.
All tools operate entirely within your browser. Your files are processed locally on your device using JavaScript libraries. No file content is transmitted to our servers, stored on our systems, or accessible by 365tools.net staff.
The Service is provided free of charge, without registration, and without usage limits. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool at any time without prior notice.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others. You must not:
- Use the Site to process files that you do not have the legal right to access, copy, or modify.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of any tool in a way that violates applicable law.
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Site in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
- Use the Site to process or distribute malware, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
- Misrepresent the origin of any output generated by our tools.
Violation of these conditions may result in access being blocked. Since we do not collect user accounts or IP logs, enforcement is limited — but we reserve the right to take technically available steps if misuse is detected.
4. Medical Files and PHI
Our DICOM converter tool is designed to assist with converting medical imaging files. Using this tool does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for clinical decisions.
While the tool processes files locally and includes a PHI metadata-stripping option, you are solely responsible for ensuring that any exported files comply with applicable healthcare privacy regulations (including HIPAA in the United States and GDPR in the European Union) before sharing them with any third party.
365tools.net is not a HIPAA Business Associate and does not enter into Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). Since no data is transmitted to us, you do not share PHI with us under HIPAA definitions. However, you remain responsible for the files you process and share.
5. Intellectual Property
The 365tools.net name, logo, design, and original written content are owned by 365tools.net and protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, or copy any part of the Site for commercial purposes without explicit written permission.
The processing libraries used by our tools (including pdf-lib, dicom-parser, qrcode, and JSZip) are open-source software distributed under their respective licences (MIT, MIT, MIT, and MIT). Their use is subject to those licence terms.
You retain full ownership of any files you process. We claim no rights over the content of files you upload or the output you download. Since files are processed locally and never transmitted to us, no licence to your content is granted to or required by 365tools.net.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all tools are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation
- Accuracy or completeness of output produced by any tool
- Compatibility with all file formats, browsers, or devices
We do not warrant that any converted, compressed, resized, or otherwise processed file will be error-free or suitable for your specific use case. Always verify output files before use in critical applications.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 365tools.net and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or file corruption resulting from use of any tool
- Errors or inaccuracies in processed output
- Any damage caused by viruses or malware (noting that we serve no executable content)
- Business interruption or loss of profits
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Site shall not exceed zero, as the Service is provided free of charge.
8. Third-party Content and Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, links to open-source library documentation). These links are provided for convenience only. We have no control over the content of linked sites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
Open-source libraries bundled with the Site are maintained by their respective authors. We make reasonable efforts to keep them up to date but do not warrant their security or continued availability.
9. Privacy
Our data practices are described in full in our Privacy Policy. In summary: we do not collect personal data, we do not receive or store file contents, and we do not use tracking cookies.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 365tools.net, its operators, and any contributors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of any of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any copyright, intellectual property, or privacy right.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the applicable courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
For material changes, we will make a reasonable effort to provide notice (such as a banner on the Site), but are not obligated to do so.
