How it works — pdf-lib in your browser
All four PDF tools are powered by pdf-lib, a pure JavaScript PDF manipulation library that runs entirely in the browser. Your browser downloads pdf-lib (~200KB) and uses it to read, modify, and write PDF data — entirely within your browser tab.
No server is involved. The output PDF is generated in memory and offered to you as a download via a temporary browser object URL.
