Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026. Short version: we don't see your files — and we never will.
1. No File Uploads
Every tool on 365tools.net processes your files entirely within your browser using JavaScript. Your images, PDFs, DICOM medical files, and any other content you provide never leave your device and are never transmitted to our servers.
This is verifiable. Open your browser's Developer Tools → Network tab, use any tool, and observe that no outgoing request contains your file data. The processing libraries (pdf-lib, dicom-parser, qrcode) are downloaded once and run locally.
2. No Accounts or Registration
365tools.net requires no registration, email address, or account of any kind. We believe tools should just work without a sign-in wall. We collect zero personally identifiable information.
3. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
We use Google Analytics to collect aggregate, anonymised data about page visits — such as which pages are viewed, approximate geographic region, and browser type. This helps us understand how the Site is used and where to focus improvements. Google Analytics may set cookies on your device. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We display Google Ads on the Site to help fund development and keep all tools free. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can manage your Google ad preferences at adssettings.google.com, or opt out of interest-based advertising via aboutads.info.
Neither Google Analytics data nor Google Ads data includes the content of any files you process — because those files never leave your device. The analytics and advertising data collected relates only to your browser session and page interactions, not to any files, documents, or images you use with our tools.
4. DICOM / Medical Files (PHI)
DICOM files often contain Protected Health Information (PHI) including patient names, IDs, dates of birth, and clinical data. Our DICOM converter is designed with this in mind:
- All DICOM processing is 100% client-side — no file content ever reaches our servers.
- The “Strip metadata” option (enabled by default) removes PHI from exported image files before download.
- We strongly recommend enabling metadata stripping before sharing exported images with third parties.
5. Server-side Processing (Future Tools)
If any future tool requires server-side processing (e.g., for formats not supported by browser APIs), we will:
- Clearly disclose this on the tool's page before you upload.
- Use OS-level temporary storage only — no database writes of file contents.
- Automatically delete all temporary files within 60 seconds of task completion.
- Never log file contents, filenames, or metadata.
6. Third-party Services
Third-party services loaded on 365tools.net include:
- Google Analytics — collects anonymised page-view data. See Section 3 for details and opt-out options.
- Google Ads — serves advertisements. See Section 3 for details and opt-out options.
- Google Fonts — loaded at build time and served from our domain. The fonts Inter and DM Mono are used for the interface.
- npm packages — open-source libraries (pdf-lib, dicom-parser, qrcode, jszip) bundled at build time and served from our domain. No external CDN calls at runtime.
7. Data Retention
Because we collect no personal data and process no files server-side, there is nothing to retain and nothing to delete. We cannot fulfill data deletion requests because there is no data to delete.
8. Children's Privacy
365tools.net does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). Since we collect no information from any user, this applies universally.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy — for example, if a future tool requires server-side processing — we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact
Questions or concerns about this privacy policy? Email us at [email protected] or visit our Contact page. Since we hold no user data, there is nothing to request deletion of.
